New cellulose-based thickener product NATROSOL F-2000! Introduction in Japan has begun! It can reduce costs for water-based paints and improve the appearance and durability of coatings.

NATROSOL F-2000 is a cellulose-based water-soluble thickener newly developed by Ashland, capable of enhancing the performance of conventional HEC. It has a strong track record, particularly in decorative coatings resembling sand or earthen walls overseas. ◎ High Thickening Efficiency Compared to conventional high-viscosity HEC, it can reduce the required amount by approximately 43%, which is expected to lower coating costs. ◎ Excellent Water Resistance It has been confirmed to have superior water resistance in immersion tests compared to conventional HEC, preventing whitening of the coating film. ◎ Color Stability It exhibits excellent color stability and high saturation. In decorative coatings resembling sand walls, it presents a natural coloration close to the original colors of stones and sand.
